Jeffrey D. Lorenzen, CFA, is the Chief Executive Officer of American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company and Eagle Life Insurance Company, both are Blumont companies.

Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2024, Mr. Lorenzen spent 12 years with the company, holding several other positions including Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, and Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer.

Before joining American Equity in 2009, Mr. Lorenzen held senior leadership roles at WB Capital Management Inc. and Investors Management Group.

Mr. Lorenzen received his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa and M.B.A. from Drake University.

Janice Madon is Chief Executive Officer of Blumont Annuity Company (Canada), a Blumont company. She has held the position since 2023. She initially joined the business as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently held the role of Chief Operating Officer.  

Ms. Madon’s prior experience includes serving as Senior Advisor to Brookfield Asset Management and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Manulife Canada. Prior to joining Manulife Canada, she held a range of senior roles at the Royal Bank of Canada over nearly a decade.

Ms. Madon is a board director of Forum Asset Management, Foresters Financial and Trisura Group Ltd, and sits on the board of governors at Appleby College, one of Canada’s top international independent schools.

Gregory McConnie is a Chief Executive Officer of North End Re, a Blumont company, and a Managing Director at Brookfield Wealth Solutions. Previously, he held various underwriting and finance roles within the property and casualty operating reinsurance group, including serving as Chief Financial Officer.

Before joining Brookfield in 2003, Mr. McConnie held various senior positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its assurance and tax practices.

Mr. McConnie holds a B.S. from the University of the West Indies. 

Thomas Olunloyo is Chief Executive Officer of Blumont Annuity Company (U.K.) Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Blumont Annuity Company (Canada).

Before joining Blumont Annuity Company (Canada), Mr. Olunloyo served as Chief Executive Officer of Legal & General Reinsurance and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Legal & General America. Prior to joining Legal & General, he was the Pricing and Product Development Actuary for MetLife Assurance Limited in the UK, where he developed extensive experience in the UK PRT market.

Mr. Olunloyo is a Fellow of the UK Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a master's degree in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Oxford.

Tim Walsh is the President and Chief Executive Officer of American National Insurance Company. He previously served as American National’s Chief Operating Officer and prior to that as Chief Financial Officer. 

Mr. Walsh has been in the insurance industry for 30 years, beginning with the Farm Family Insurance Companies in 1995 and continued serving in several senior leadership roles after the company was acquired by American National in 2001. 

Before joining the company, he spent nine years with KPMG.

Mr. Walsh earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Sienna College in Loudonville, New York.
